GOALS
– Identify articles of the written materials in English
– Translate to Spanish, supported by translation tools
– Complete it with images and videos

SCOPE
Every day that passes is the demand and need for professionals to master a second language such as English, in addition to this there is also the need for management and use of information technologies, with this project is intended to promote undergraduate students the use of English and information technologies as learning tools.

    Translating wiki articles into Spanish is a great way to develop language skills in students. It may require some content knowledge, so you will want to be (as Jon Beasley Murray suggested) clear on what articles students translate. Certainly this addresses a gap, but one that you might want to think about is whether students can further develop the article, or whether it is purely a translation exercise. I think it would also be important for students to understand the gap that they are helping to address and why it is important to have Wikipedia articles in Spanish. This is the ‘bigger picture’ of Wikipedia.
