I could complement my work with different open tecnologies, for example using padlet for colaborative works, the use of Wikipedia as the first source of approach to the concepts to be studied and Educaplay, to perform ludic and interactive learning activities.

Hi Alan ! The open technologies are one of the tools we can use to make classes more creative, collaborative and improve the work. I love the wikipedia part … now I do see it as a resource inside the classroom but as a resource that we can consult and according to our knowledge and value it … I also liked the web pages … where you can take a day-to-day agenda that is a repository of information. Also theta are many App in the web to use.

I’m a true believer of open technology, I think we need to implement more open spaces of production for my students. I’d like to use H5P for more interactive excercises and for production use wordpress as a space of creation and collaboration.

Due to the nature of my courses, I believe that the most important criteria are reflective practice, learner generated and participatory technology, although I do not discard several of the other criteria, such as sharing ideas and resources and, of course, creativity.

I think that what teachers can do from the beginning of the semester is to recommend to students the risk and vulnerability of personal and professional information so that in the future they take the precaution of protecting their information. The risks of plagiarism or loss of information is a latent risk when uploads information in an application or platform.

H5P is an interesting possibility to develop activities that strengthen the learning of many subjects of my courses, I will work on it. WordPress is also a very good option to work the class. I currently work with Google documents and presentations for collaborative activities that have given excellent results and the Classroom platform gives me a very practical and dynamic website to take the course.

I currently use the open resource Geogebra, a powerful mathematical tool, portable and very easy to use. My first goal is to combine this tool with H5P, a mix that I am sure will increase student attention. My second goal will be to find more open math resources to improve the way of feedback to students in their exercises (achieving it will be beneficial for both).

I really enjoyed using h5p which was new to me, however, I found it a little bit dificult at first, I think that I ned to familiarize more with it and that’ll take some time, but after that, I’ll be able to do so much more dynamic blog for my students. So, I’ll keep using h5p and wordpress.
