I am understanding this idea might be following up on Paul Stacey’s message today about the need to redesign open learning as something new.
This is an interesting idea as it is not purely technical, and would suggest looking at the work done elsewhere in learning space design. Your work tomorrow will be to refine more about what will be needed to make a rationale for a new facility. You night consider too how students might participate in the design process.
And by calling it an “open building” I assume this means it could be a facility open to the community.
