Evaluation of Modular Projects
Proposal:
Design a strategy that allows CUCEI students to upload their modular projects and then any professor or students interested in the topic can comment on the quality of work with the use of the tool hypotes.is. The objective is that now the evaluation of these projects is carried out through multidisciplinary exchange sessions.
Modular projects are academic projects carried out by students with the aim of evaluating the competences acquired from a defined block of courses.
Rationale:
Currently the evaluation of these projects only involves only one department teacher. The objective is that now the evaluation of these projects is carried out through multidisciplinary exchange sessions, including the proposed technology allows teachers and students from all over the world to participate.
Implementation:
We are going to ask the students to include in their projects the use of:
– Images, videos and sounds found on Wikimedia Commons.
– That they look for similar projects in the world: OER Word Map (Open Education Resources)
– Use open articles: Open Research Central (https://openresearchcentral.org)
Once the modular project has been drawn up:
– They should upload it to an open page: WordPress projects page
– Then the professors and students of CUCEI (but being open, from anywhere) can review projects of their interest and make the pertinent observations with the use of hypothes.is
– However, there will be a multidisciplinary group of teachers who will formally evaluate it in a defined time interval.
– Students should review their projects among themselves, they will have points to evaluate projects of their classmates.
– Upload the project to platforms that disseminate open projects around the world: OER Word Map (Open Education Resources).
Challenges:
– The support of the institution for the creation of the platform.
– Ask the institution to take into account the work of teachers in these evaluations at the time the teacher requires.
– The project we are proposing uses several of the features of the open pedagogy:
+ Peer Review: The student reviews his peers.
+ Connected community: Students and teachers are connected.
+ Reflective practice: Everyone should learn and reflect on what they are reviewing.
+ Sharing ideas & resources: The sharing of ideas will be a natural consequence of the process.

Evaluación de Proyectos Modulares
PROPUESTA
Diseñar una estrategia que permita a los alumnos del CUCEI subir su proyectos modulares para que cualquier profesor o estudiante interesado en el tema pueda comentar respecto a la calidad de los trabajos con el uso de la herramiento hypothes.is.
Los proyectos modulares son proyectos academicos que realizan los alumnos con el objetivo de evaluar las competencias adquiridas de un bloque definido de cursos.
RAZONES
Actualmente la evaluación de estos proyectos solo involucra solo a un profesores de departamento involucrado. El objetivo es que ahora la evaluación de esos proyectos sea llevada a cabo a través de sesiones de intercambio multidisciplinar, incluso la tecnología que se propone permite que participen profesores y alumnos de todo el mundo.
IMPLEMENTACIÓN
– Le vamos a pedir a los alumnos que incluyan en su proyectos el uso de:
+ Imágenes, videos y sonidos que encuentren en Wikimedia Commons.
+ Que busquen proyectos similares en el mundo: OER Word Map (Open Education Resources)
+ Que utilicen articulos abiertos: Open Research Central (https://openresearchcentral.org)
– Una vez elaborado el proyecto modular:
+ Deberán subirlo a una página abierta: Pagina de proyectos en WordPress
+ Entonces los profesores y alumnos del CUCEI (pero al ser abierta, de cualquier parte) podrán revisar proyectos de su interesa y hacer las observaciones pertinentes con el uso de hypothes.is
+ Sin embargo habrá un grupo multidisciplinario de profesores que lo evaluaran formalmente en un intervalo de tiempo definido.
+ Los alumnos deberán revisar sus proyectos entre ellos, tendrán puntos por evaluar proyectos de sus compañeros.
+ Subir el proyecto a plataformas que difunden proyectos abiertos en todo el mundo: OER Word Map (Open Education Resources)
RETOS
– El apoyo de la institución para la creación de la plataforma
– Pedirle a la institución que tome en cuenta el trabajo de los profesores en estas evaluaciones en el momento que el profesor lo requiera.
– El proyecto que estamos proponiendo utiliza varias de la caractiristicas de la open pedagogy:
+ Peer Review: El alumno revisa
+ Connected community: Los alumnos y profesores están conectados
+ Reflective practice: Todos deberán aprender y reflexionar sobre lo que esta revisando.
+ Sharing ideas & resources: El intercambio de ideas será consecuencia natural del proceso.
