In this summary, I don’t see an explanation of what the open part actually is other than it will use a creative commons license. What is the gap that this idea is addressing? What aspects of it are contributing to open, or having students participate in open? (it uses licenses and open technology from what I can see). How does this idea go beyond the classroom and contribute more broadly to the university for example? ( I know you told me that there would be campus workshops for students to help them learn to create open content). So the idea is there, it just needs to be articulated more.
